Nancy Rose is the author of The Secret Life of Squirrels series. She observed the curiosity of the little red squirrels when she noticed them raiding the bird feeders in her backyard. By creating miniature sets and squirrel-sized props and baiting them with hidden peanuts, she captured the curious squirrels in a variety of adorable human-like poses. Nancy Rose, who is a high school guidance counselor when she is not photographing squirrels, lives in Bedford, Nova Scotia.
